The Black Sheep Preemie Project
We are proud to join our friend Rebecca, in her effort to supply the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit) at Children's Hospital, with much-needed hats. Rebecca began this project to honor the memory of her infant daughter, Lilly.
Items may be either knit or crochet. Yarns used must be easy-care, machine wash and dry, hypoallergenic. We suggest the softest acryllic or cotton that you can find. Wool and fuzzy fibers should be avoided. Hats may be sized for the smallest preemie to full term infant. Patterns are available at the shop. The Preemie Project will gladly accept donations of suitable yarn for this long-term project!

Ongoing Classes

Basic Knitting classes are held at the shop from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, Friday, and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Polish your skills, learn new techniques - this is a class for knitters of all levels. Work on your choice of project, at our own pace. The cost of the class session is $72, for 6 classes over an 8 week block. Class sizes is limited.
Spaces are available for the summer session, beginning the week of July 1st.

Summer Knitting
What could be better than knitting the hot and sultry days of August?
How about knitting in air conditioned comfort at the Black Sheep Knitting Company?
Session 1: August 11, 13, 15
Session 2: August 18, 20, 22
Both sessions from 3:30 to 4:30

Fee for one week session is $40, both weeks for $75.
Age 8 and older.
The Black Sheep Knitting Company reserves the right to cancel any class due to under enrollment.
